Alhamdulillāh, by Allah’s permission the keys are in our hands and the work of establishing Markaz Rabee’ has begun. Now the real ongoing work starts — maintaining the masjid, covering running costs, and keeping it a clean, welcoming centre of knowledge and prayer for the community. The Prophet ﷺ said: “The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are small.” Your regular donation — however small — is a continuous reward and a share in maintaining the House of Allah.

Alhamdulillāh, the masjid is secured. The ongoing work of maintaining it now begins. Running costs, upkeep, and keeping it a place of prayer and knowledge never stop. The most beloved deeds to Allah are those done consistently, even if small. Set up a regular donation and take a continuous share in maintaining the House of Allah.

The raw space as it stands — being cleaned and prepared for temporary use from next week inshā’Allāh.

The Plan

Our planned layout includes a main prayer hall (65.6m²), separate brothers and sisters wudhu areas, shoe racks, disabled access ramp, imam space, and folding doors to extend the space for Jumu’ah.

Renovation Works

  • Flooring throughout
  • Wall plastering and painting
  • Tiling (wudhu areas and entrance)
  • New wudhu (ablution) facilities — brothers and sisters
  • Drop ceiling installation
  • Structural beam work to extend and open the prayer space
  • Carpeting the musallah
  • Electrical works and lighting
  • Signage and entrance area
  • Sound system for lessons and khutbah
  • Furniture — chairs, shelving, whiteboards for classes
  • Toilet facilities and plumbing
  • Website and running costs
Alhamdulillāh, the £70,000 renovation target has been reached. Every penny is going directly into completing the works so this space can serve as a proper masjid and centre of knowledge for the community.May Allah accept it from everyone who contributed and grant us success in maintaining it.
